Groceries of Hope

Over the last couple of months we have collected dog food for the dogs, nappies for the babies, cupcakes for people suffering from cancer, sweets for the kids, stationery and Christmas gifts for the kids, and now it's time for something a little more serious. Millions of people go hungry every day, and every day millions more worry where their next meal is coming from. Which is why we have decided to do a GROCERIES drive for the Cradle of Hope. We want to fill their cupboards with as much as we possibly can. ANY grocery items are most welcome, from cereals and sugar, to pasta, spices, even toilet paper, soap and toothpaste. Cleaning products, coffee, milk and baking goods. Purchase and donate a few extra items the next time you go shopping OR if you live far away or you're too busy you are most welcome to make a financial donation and we will do the shopping for you. Let's make sure they have enough to last them a couple of months so they can focus on more important things. No donation is too small - a little can go a long way!!!

Santa Shoeboxes 2015

25 Santa Shoeboxes packed and ready to go.

A special thank you to Jackie Serrao for all her hard work and dedication to get this done.

There is no way we could have done this without her.

Thank you also to Yolandi Brough for the lovely hand made cards and for taking the time to help paint the boxes.

Yolandi hard at work.

Sweets & Treats

I started the Charity Begins With Me initiative a couple of years ago and I have worked damn hard to ensure we do what we can to help those in need. Every single day this page gets a little bigger and we have more people getting involved.

We were off to a slow start but in the end we were able to collect boxes and boxes and boxes of sweets and treats for the Africa Food for Thought Christmas party. Thank you so much to each and every single person for opening their hearts and making a difference. Friends, family, strangers, and new friends. If we all work together we can make the world a better place.
