Cradle of Hope / Tjokkertjies vir Jesus

A massive load of cans delivered to Cradle of Hope / Tjokkertjies vir Jesus over the weekend. Thank you to each and every single one of you who made this possible and for Alex Vorster who helped with the delivery!! Greyhound Rescue Group SA

The first cans were delivered to Greyhound Rescue Group SA yesterday. They just took in 42 new babies and are in desperate need of any food donations. If you can help and want to donate cans of food, please get in touch!! Every can we donate will make a HUGE difference!!

You CAN Do It (Take Two)

Our "You CAN Do It" challenge last year was such a big success and so we have decided to do it again this year!!! Let's see if we can break our record of 2,704 cans donated to charity. We all have cans gathering dust in the cupboard so now is the time to donate!! Everyone can help!! Whether it's soup, vegetables, canned meat, dog food or tuna. If it's in a can we want it!!! And if you live far away and want to donate some $$$ you are most welcome. We will buy cans on your behalf. We all have a lot to be thankful for - let's help out those in need!!!

Laptop Donation

In April I took a chance and asked if anyone had an old laptop for a very special young woman who is an avid writer, and without any hesitation Johan Landman generously donated a laptop for her.

Thank you so much Johan!! This is such an amazing act of kindness!!

Wheelchair + Walker Donation

A special thank you to Joseph A Botha and the SAVF Kowa Pienaar Tehuis for very generously donating a wheelchair and walker to COMPASS. Danielle, a widow in the care centre, had an accident recently that affected her ability to move around. The wheelchair and walker will make a huge difference in her life.

Groceries Donated

We were able to deliver bags and bags of groceries, and fresh fruit and vegetables to two needy families in April. They were so happy and so grateful for this!!!

Four Wheelchairs Donated - Interwaste Tops and Tags

A HUGE thank you to Jackie Serrao, friends and family for the amazing team effort in collecting and donating bread tags for our Interwaste charity project!! We donated 66kg's of bread tags and so we were able to donate FOUR brand new wheelchairs to The Gateway School - a leading school for learners with special educational needs (LSEN) dedicated to preparing learners to live a dignified life and assisting them to reaching their full potential.
