The Write Thing

So, my goal is to collect 3,000 pens, pencils and markers for needy children.

We take this for granted, but not every child is fortunate enough to have the stationery they need for school.

Imagine writing an exam and you have to share a pen with your friend. This is a sad reality for some.

So far we have collect 1,541 items - only 1,459 item to go!!!

Fairland Police Station & Beagle Watch

After handing out almost 2,500 Easter eggs to ALL the children on our list we had a few boxes left.

I was very tempted to eat all of it, but instead we decided to take these to the Fairland police station as well as our friends at Beagle Watch.

They really do such an amazing job to keep our community safe.

Beagle Watch also plays a huge role in finding and returning lost pets in the area.

The Easter Bunny @ Reënboogland

I also got to spend some time at Reënboogland yesterday.

We went from classroom to classroom handing out Easter eggs.

The kids were so excited to see us!!

Most of the classes entertained us by singing some lovely songs and some even handed the Easter Bunny some amazing pieces of art that they made especially for him.

It was such a treat to hang out with these kids and I will treasure each and every hug I got from them.

The Easter Bunny @ Tjokkertjies vir Jesus

We were fortunate enough to spend some time at the Tjokkertjies vir Jesus in Krugersdorp this morning.

These children are so amazing and so full of love.

They were so excited when they spotted the Easter Bunny on the playground and gave him loads of hugs.
